Celebrating Our Journey: LPC Closes a Chapter

Dear friends,

It is with mixed emotions that I share the news of the dissolution of Latina Professionals of Chattanooga. Over the past five years, we've embarked on an incredible journey, building a community that celebrates the strength and resilience of Latina women. I wanted all Latina women and girls to feel deeply supported so that they could bring their visions to life and transform the systems and communities around us; this is why I started LPC.

I am immensely grateful to each one of you who played a part in this inspiring chapter. Despite our collective efforts, the unfortunate reality is that we faced challenges regarding participation and support. While our mission was to uplift and empower Latina professionals, an organization like ours must thrive on the active involvement of the very community it serves.

I want to express heartfelt gratitude to the companies that stood by us, especially during last year's Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month events. Your support was instrumental, and I cherish the partnerships and collaborations that flourished during this time.

To all the incredible Latinas who attended our events, supported us from day one, and contributed to the vibrant tapestry of our community, I thank you. Your enthusiasm and dedication have been the driving force behind our mission.

Although this decision is undoubtedly emotional, please know that our commitment to supporting Latina women and girls remains unwavering. I encourage each of you to continue being advocates and voices for all women and girls in our community. Together, we can make a lasting impact.

As we bid farewell to Latina Professionals of Chattanooga, I reflect on the memories, friendships, and achievements that defined this chapter. It's not the end but a transition to new opportunities, and I am confident that the spirit of empowerment will endure.

Thank you for five incredible years of growth, collaboration, and sisterhood. Let's carry the torch forward in our endeavors, always championing the cause of Latina women and girls.

Es con emociones encontradas que comparto la noticia de la disolución de Latina Profesionales de Chattanooga. Durante los últimos cinco años embarcamos un viaje increíble, construyendo una comunidad que celebra la fuerza y ​​la resiliencia de las mujeres latinas. LPC se creo con el proposito que todas las mujeres y niñas latinas se sintieran profundamente apoyadas para que pudieran hacer realidad sus metas, transformar el sistema y las comunidades que nos rodean.

Estoy inmensamente agradecida con cada una de ustedes que participaron en este inspirador capítulo. A pesar de nuestros esfuerzos, la desafortunada realidad es que enfrentamos desafíos en materia de participación y apoyo colectivo. Una organización como la nuestra debe prosperar gracias a la participación activa de la comunidad a la que sirve y juntas promover nuestra misión de elevar y empoderar a las mujeres latinas.

Quiero expresar mi más sincero agradecimiento a las empresas que nos apoyaron, especialmente durante los eventos del Mes de la Herencia Hispana del año pasado. Su apoyo fue fundamental y aprecio las asociaciones y colaboraciones que florecieron durante este tiempo.

A todas las increíbles latinas que asistieron a nuestros eventos, nos apoyaron desde el primer día y contribuyeron al vibrante tapiz de nuestra comunidad, les agradezco. Su entusiasmo y dedicación han sido la fuerza impulsora detrás de nuestra misión.

Aunque esta decisión es sin duda emotiva, sepan que nuestro compromiso de apoyar a las mujeres y niñas latinas sigue siendo inquebrantable. Animo a cada una de ustedes a continuar siendo defensores y voces para todas las mujeres y niñas de nuestra comunidad. Juntas podemos lograr este impacto.

Mientras nos despedimos, reflexiono sobre los recuerdos, las amistades y los logros que definieron este gran capítulo. Este no es el final, sino una transición hacia nuevas oportunidades, y estoy segura de que el espíritu de empoderamiento perdurará.

Gracias por estos cinco increíbles años de crecimiento, colaboración y hermandad. Llevemos la antorcha adelante en nuestros esfuerzos, siempre defendiendo la causa de las mujeres y niñas latinas.
